The tulip festival of Srinagar is truly one of its kind events and one needs to witness this at least once in their lifetime! Celebrating the blooming season of the gorgeous tulip flowers, the Tulip Festival in Kashmir is an add-on to the already naturally blessed Srinagar. It is an annual festival, famous worldwide with people coming here in large numbers to witness the breathtaking sight.

The Tulip Garden in Srinagar sees high tourist footfalls every year. Apart from the Dal Lake, the garden also offers views of the Nishat Bagh, Pari Mahal and Chashma Shahi Bagh in the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir.Even though the lakhs of tulips in various colours remain the tourist attraction, the garden has various other varieties of flowers, trees and fountains.

The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar, nestled in the foothills of Zabarwan Range, is the place where you can witness the colourful tulips bloom in the beautiful backdrop of Dal Lake. A seven-layered garden is built here for the purpose and to promote floriculture in the state of Kashmir.

The festival was earlier known as the Model Floriculture Center and showcased a wide variety of flowers including hyacinths and daffodils, among others. Later on, tulips took over the entire garden and covered a majority of the space. If you ever walk through this garden, the sweet smell and colourful sight of these tulips will stay in your mind for long. It definitely will be an experience that you’ll remember for the rest of your life.

DAY 01 Arrival At SrinagarArrival

from Srinagar Airport, After Refresh on the houseboat. At 12:00,  Begin the tour of Srinagar Tulip Garden in the foot hills of Zabarwan Mountains afterwards visit Mughal Gardens, which is so much loved. and Chashma Shahi , Pari Mahal in evening return to and Dal Lake’s Abode of Pleasure, go For Shikara Ride. The Dal is famous not only for its beauty, but for its vibrancies, because it sustains within its periphery, a life that is unique anywhere in the world. The houseboat and Shikara communities have lived for centuries on the Dal, and so complete is their infrastructure on the lake, that they seldom have to step on land! Doctors, tailors, and bakers - you'll see them all in tiny wooden shops on the lake, overnight at Houseboats..

DAY 02 Srinagar –Sonamarg

SrinagarAfter Breakfast ,drive towards Sonamarg 4 hrs at an altitude of 3,000 meters above sea level, 87 km north-east of Srinagar. Sonamarg which means 'meadow of gold is a beautiful spot full of snow clad mountains, fast and flowing water and vast meadows. You can also treck or hire ponies (Direct Payment) and visit Thajiwas Glacier which remains snow clad throughout the year. Return back to Srinagar and Overnight Stay at Hotel

DAY 03 Srinagar – Pahalgam

SrinagarAfter Early, Breakfast proceed for Pahalgam. On the way visit Saffron fields of Pampore , Awantipura ruins and Mattan temple, Finaly reach Pahalgam, one of the beautiful and fascinating ideal resorts all the year round. It is the base for several treks in the region. Situated at the confluence of the Lidder River and set amidst fir and pine covered mountains, one can have a real feelings of Paradise. You can trek or hire ponies to the meadow at Baisaran (5 km) you can also hire local car and visit Aru , Chandanwari and Betab Valley. Overnight at Hotel.Note: Pony Rides and Visit to Aru, Chandanwari and BetabValley is not included in Package

DAY 04 Srinagar – Gulmarg

SrinagarAfter breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country side day trip towards Gulmarg. Enjoy the Gondola (Cable car) ride which is highest in Asia. It has 2 phases.The first stage transfers from the Gulmarg resort at 2,600 m (8,530 ft) to Kongdoori Station in the bowl-shaped Kongdori valley. The second stage of the ropeway, which has 36 cabins and 18 towers, takes skiers to a height of 3,747 m (12,293 ft) on Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m(13,780 ft)). In the evening we will drive back to Srinagar where we can take a walk along the banks of the Dal Lake or simply rest in the cosy rooms of our hotel. DAY 05 Srinagar -Departure

Tour Endss Check out From Hotel and drive to Airport (45 mins) for return Journey. Guests are advised to reach Airport 2 hrs before the departure time.
